Brewery description
Highgate Brewery Ltd was a historic Walsall brewery, rooted in the town's Caldmore area and known for traditional Midlands ales such as Highgate Mild. Its red-brick brewhouse, once a local landmark, reflected generations of Black Country brewing culture. Though production has ceased, the name remains associated with community pubs, dark milds, and Walsall's industrial heritage. Its legacy endures.
