I like this beer. I am fairly new to the craft beer world. I first visited Oyster City brewery a few years back and really enjoyed the Mill Pond Dirty Blonde. They name at least most of their beers for people and places in the Apalachicola, FL area. Everybody raves about Tupelo honey and Hooted Brown is reportedly made with it. I'm not normally a fan of strong beers as I am 64 years old at the time of this review and a couple of these make me want a nap. I really like this beer and I am not normally a fan of dark beers either. I like the flavorn has a bit of a coffee taste, ever so slightly bitter. I saw where others said it has a very high carbonation and I agree. Very refreshing most of the way through. I drink these slowly so I get a slight fatigue from the flavor once it gets warmer. But it hides its now 8.5 % ABV very well. This brewery is getting the recognition now that it deserves. I'm able to get it at a select few grocery stores in my home state of Alabama!
